Fifteen years in corporate retail.

I’ve spent 15+ years solving messy problems, building out processes, automating workflows, and making sure operations of top retailers run smoother. Think all the unglamorous stuff that keeps products on shelves.

That work taught me one thing more than anything else: most “complicated” systems aren’t actually complicated. They’re just unsupported. There’s no manual, no one in the room who can translate the technical layer to the human layer.

But behind the spreadsheets? I’ve always been chasing something more creative, more human, more mine.

Ginger Alchemy blends the structure and efficiency of AI with the creative to make something actually magical. It’s where my automation + logistics brain meets my content-creator soul.

I’m a serial entrepreneur who’s spent years juggling a corporate job and launching a side hustle — always stalled out by endless to-dos. Too many hats and not enough hours kind of thing. It’s what helps me connect to the hustle of small business owners, and understanding it has literally changed everything for me.

It’s the blend of corporate-level operations experience, a podcasting / marketing / content rabbit-hole era, a lifelong obsession with entrepreneurship and the magic of turning ideas into income, and a mission to support service businesses doing real work that matters.

I didn’t start with a grand plan to become an AI strategist. I wanted to free up my time to do the parts of business building I love — and let the robots handle the rest.

I kept seeing the same gap over and over — brilliant tools surrounded by people who didn’t know what to ask, what to use, or where to start. Same translation problem I’d been solving in corporate for 15 years. Eventually it got hard to ignore that I could probably fix it.

what I actually do

Teach AI in a way that finally makes sense.

Not the surface-level version. The version where the AI knows your business, sounds like you, and does work you’d actually keep.

Right now that lives in a few places. The Alchemy AI newsletter is the front door — weekly, free, five-minute reads with tools you can actually use. The Build Lab is the deep end — a four-week cohort where you bring one task you repeat every week, and you leave with a working system. And I do speaking and workshops for conferences, organizations, and small-business communities.

There’s a level-up offering coming for builders who want to keep going after the Lab. I’m building this in public, ladder-style — figuring out what works as I go.

Outside the work, I’m Mama, She-Ra (per my granddaughter), and wifey — living on Beaver Lake with Chuck, the critters, and an ongoing education in deer-resistant gardening. I run Ginger Alchemy alongside the corporate role because both feed each other: the corporate work keeps me sharp on real enterprise problems, and Ginger Alchemy lets me solve those same problems for owners who don’t have a Fortune 500 budget.

This is the work I couldn’t not build.
