Ginger Alchemy (“we,” “us,” “our”) cares about your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit gingeralchemy.com, subscribe to our newsletter, sign up for the AI Build Lab, or get in touch about a speaking engagement — and what we do with it.

The short version: we collect the minimum we need to do our work, we don’t sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who runs this

Ginger Alchemy is a small business based in Rogers, Arkansas, USA, owned and operated by Jamie Riene Stephens. You can reach us at hello@gingeralchemy.com.

What we collect

When you subscribe to the newsletter

When you sign up for the Alchemy AI newsletter, we collect your email address and (optionally) your first name through our newsletter platform, Beehiiv. Beehiiv also tracks aggregate engagement (whether you opened an email, whether you clicked a link) so we know which content lands.

When you contact us about a speaking engagement

If you fill out the inquiry form on our Speaking page, we collect your name, organization, email address, event type, approximate date, budget range, and what you want your audience to walk away with. The form is processed through Formspree, which delivers it to our inbox.

When you sign up for the AI Build Lab

Build Lab purchases are processed through Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email, billing address, and payment information. We don’t see or store your full payment card details — that stays with Stripe.

When you visit our website

Our site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel collects standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance reasons. This data is not personally identifiable to us in any meaningful way.

How we use your information

• To send you the newsletter you signed up for
• To respond to your inquiries about speaking, workshops, or other services
• To deliver the AI Build Lab cohort to you if you’ve signed up
• To improve our site, content, and offerings based on aggregate patterns
• To comply with legal obligations when required

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the business. Right now those are:

• Beehiiv — newsletter delivery and email engagement tracking
• Stripe — payment processing for paid programs
• Formspree — inquiry form handling
• Vercel — site hosting and basic analytics
• Google — if we use Google Workspace for email correspondence

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle your data. We don’t sell your information to anyone.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law (a subpoena, court order, etc.). If that ever happens, we’ll do our best to notify you unless legally prohibited.

Your rights

You can:

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter anytime by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email
• Request a copy of the data we have about you
• Request deletion of your data (with the caveat that we may need to keep some records for tax or legal reasons)
• Correct any data that’s wrong

For any of these, email hello@gingeralchemy.com and we’ll handle it within a reasonable timeframe (usually under 30 days).

If you’re in California, the EU, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR, etc.), you have additional rights under those laws — and we’ll honor them. Just ask.

Cookies

Our site uses minimal essential cookies for things like remembering you’re logged in (we don’t actually have logins yet, but the underlying tools may set them) and basic site functionality. The third-party services we use (Beehiiv, Stripe, etc.) may set their own cookies when you interact with them.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some interactive parts (like Stripe checkout) may not.

Children

This site and our offerings are intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we’ve collected data from a minor, email us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business evolves or as new tools come into the mix. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be communicated via the newsletter or a notice on the site.
