Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of gingeralchemy.com and the programs Ginger Alchemy offers (the Alchemy AI newsletter, the AI Build Lab, speaking engagements, and anything else we add over time). By using the site or signing up for any of our offerings, you agree to these terms.
Plain language: we’re a small business doing our best. These terms exist to set expectations, not to scare you. If anything is unclear, email hello@gingeralchemy.com.
About us
Ginger Alchemy is owned and operated by Jamie Riene Stephens, based in Rogers, Arkansas, USA. The legal entity is Jamie Riene, LLC doing business as Ginger Alchemy.
Use of the site
You’re welcome to read, browse, and link to our content. You can’t scrape it, republish it, or use it to train AI models without permission. You also can’t use the site or our services for anything illegal, abusive, or that interferes with other users.
The newsletter
The Alchemy AI newsletter is free. By subscribing, you’re agreeing to receive emails from us — usually weekly, occasionally a special edition. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link at the bottom of any email. Unsubscribing means we’ll stop sending you the newsletter, though we may still need to keep your email on a suppression list to make sure we don’t accidentally re-add you.
The AI Build Lab
What’s included
The AI Build Lab is a four-week cohort program. When you purchase a seat, you get access to the live sessions, the midweek check-in, and the practical guidance described on the program’s landing page at the time of purchase. Specifics (number of sessions, dates, duration) are listed on that page.
Payment
Build Lab payments are processed through Stripe. You authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for the amount shown at checkout. Prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.
Refunds
Because the Build Lab is a cohort program with a fixed seat count, our refund policy is as follows:
- Up to 7 days before the cohort starts: full refund, no questions asked
- Within 7 days of cohort start: 50% refund, since seats may not be backfillable
- After the cohort has started: no refunds — but we can credit you toward a future cohort if life happens. Just email us
Cohort changes
We reserve the right to reschedule a session if something genuinely unavoidable comes up (illness, etc.). If we cancel an entire cohort, you’ll get a full refund or a free seat in the next one — your choice.
Speaking engagements and workshops
Speaking engagements and custom workshops are booked via the inquiry form on our Speaking page or by email. We’ll respond with availability, fit, and pricing. A formal speaking agreement (separate from these terms) governs each booking once both parties sign off.
Intellectual property
Our content
Everything on this site — the writing, the photos, the brand, the frameworks — is owned by Ginger Alchemy or licensed to us. You can quote short passages with attribution (we love it when that happens). You can’t republish full pieces, claim our work as your own, or use it for commercial purposes without written permission.
Your content
When you submit something to us — an inquiry form, an email, a question in the Build Lab, a comment somewhere — you keep ownership of it. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use that content as needed to deliver our services to you, respond to you, or improve our offerings (in aggregate, anonymized form).
Trademarks
“Ginger Alchemy,” the Ginger Alchemy logo, and “Alchemy AI” are trademarks of Ginger Alchemy. Don’t use them in ways that suggest endorsement or affiliation without permission.
Disclaimers
The site, the newsletter, the Build Lab, and any related content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to make sure everything works and that the advice we give is sound — but we can’t guarantee specific business outcomes.
Specifically:
- What you learn from us is educational, not legal, financial, tax, or medical advice. Run important decisions by a qualified professional in those fields.
- AI tools change rapidly. What works today may behave differently tomorrow. We’ll do our best to keep our content current, but we can’t guarantee it.
- Results from applying what you learn depend on your effort, your business, and a hundred other variables we don’t control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ginger Alchemy and Jamie Riene Stephens are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site or our programs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant program in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else’s rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Benton County, Arkansas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms. If a change is material, we’ll do our best to flag it (in the newsletter or via email if it affects current cohort participants).
